General Manager Southwest (Not California) 100-120K+ Bonus, Benefits, Relocation, etc. Summary Directs production and distribution operations for branch plant, or assigned territory of industrial organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Coordinates production, distribution and warehousing in accordance with policies, principles, and procedures established Chief Commercial Officer and our Lean Culture. Confers with customers and representatives of associated industries to evaluate and promote improved and expanded services in area. Develops plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and employees. Reviews production costs and product quality, and modifies production and inventory control programs to maintain and enhance profitable operation of division. Reviews operations of competing organizations and plans and directs sales program to develop new markets. Directs preparation of accounting records. Recommends budgets to management. Supervisory Responsibilities Manages subordinate supervisors who supervise a total of 100 employees in Production. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Quality Management - Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Computer Skills Proficient with Microsoft Office, ERP and Project Management Tools Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Lean, Six Sigma or Theory of Constraints experience or certification preferred.
