Plant Manager
Plant Manager Colorado 85K+ Bonus, excellent benefits, relocation, etc. JOB SUMMARY: This position has the responsibility for all plant activities and leads a team of approximately 70 employees. KEY TASKS: Manufacturing Goal Establishment and Achievement • Process Improvement • Supply Chain Management • Employee Relations • Regulatory Compliance • Budget Management • Leadership ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES • Establishes and meets targets in cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete and on-time performance. • Establishes and implements policies and practices in the areas of materials usage, shipping and receiving, capacity planning, production scheduling, distribution and logistics, maintenance, safety, customer satisfaction, and employee relations. • Assesses costs and efficiencies and implements changes to reach high performance levels. • Builds, develops and manages operations leadership team capable of carrying out needed operations strategies and improving employee relations. • Provides leadership for problem resolution to facilitate faster improvements and improved working relationships. • Develops and manages operations budget to ensure compliance with organizational expenditure requirements and meet ROI objectives. • Ensures on-going performance feedback is provided to staff and conducts performance reviews in a timely and effective manner. • Ensures compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations. QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor’s degree (B.A/S.) in Business Administration, Engineering or a related field or equivalent from four-year college or certificate program desirable, but will consider substantial experience in lieu of formal education. • 5 years of supervisory experience, with increasing responsibilities. • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and/or Continuous Improvement highly desired. • Ability to write clear and concise reports, business correspondence. • Ability to work with balance sheets, profit/loss statements, and financial statements/reports. • Flat Glass or Shower Door fabrication experience preferred. • Wood Products manufacturing experience preferred.
