General Manager Southwest (Not California) Salary is $110,000 range + 15% incentive potential, excellent benefits, relocation, etc. JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for all location activities. Leads a team of approximately 70 employees. ROLE PRIORITIES: • P&L and Budget Management • Process Improvement • Leadership & Staff Development • Regulatory Compliance • Supply Chain Management • Employee Relations • New Business Development and Client Management • Sales Support ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: • Coordinate activities of operations, manufacturing, logistics, engineering, planning, and maintenance to maximize operation efficiency. • Develop and manage operations budget to ensure compliance with organizational expenditure requirements and objectives. • Establish and meet/exceed targets in operational efficiencies, cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, delivery, and performance. • Establish and implement policies and practices relating to materials usage, logistics, capacity planning, production scheduling, safety, customer satisfaction, and employee relations. • Build, develop, and manage operations leadership team capable of carrying out operations strategies. • Effectively supervise and manage staff. Provide motivation and direction by example and leadership. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. • 7+ years directly related experience with increasing level of responsibility. • Glass fabrication a plus. • Wood Products Manufacturing a plus • Technical skills in plant organization and work flow, capacity and manpower utilization, Lean Manufacturing techniques, process improvement, materials management, and logistics. • Ability to write clear and concise business correspondence. • Solid business acumen, including a comprehensive understanding of profit/loss statements. • Excellent communication skills, with ability to effectively present information, in both small and large groups, with employees, clients, and customers. • Demonstrated ability to lead people and achieve results through others.
