General Job Activity:
Performs engineering work in the analysis, planning and implementation of improvement projects of the manufacturing process for the production of extrusion coated paperboard products.
May assist Shift Coordinators and/or line personnel in problem solving, system analysis, research and training.
Specific Job Activities:
- Provide technical assistance and support to plant production groups. Manage specific improvement projects to completion
- Gather data for analysis, train operators on efficient operations
- Work with vendors to provide improved equipment or upgrade existing equipment
- Preparation of status and technical reports, including analysis or results, conclusions and recommendations for action
- Attend technical seminars, read technical information and keep abreast of developments in the extrusion coating industry and personal development |
Qualifications |
Skills and Training:
- BA/BS Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Leadership: Ability to get results through working with others
- Strong Team Player
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Knowledge of ENTEK IRD Vibration monitoring equipment and software
- Knowledge of FLIR infrared camera system
- Experience with equipment signature analysis
- Familiarity with extrusion coating process and equipment desired |
