Production Supervisor Pennsylvania The salary range $45-55k. A. PURPOSE To coordinate the operation of the production department lines under the direct supervision of the department manager. B. DUTIES The duties of this position are those described below. This job description does not state or imply that the duties listed are the only duties and responsibilities assigned to this position. Employees holding this position will be required to perform any other job-related duties as requested by management. 1. Essential Duties These duties directly and substantially serve to achieve the purpose of the position. ƒÞ Must be familiar with the quality system requirements of the plant. ƒÞ Ensure that all processing activities are in conformance with product specifications. ƒÞ Verify, control and assure that all production parameters are within the planed budget. ƒÞ Serve as a liaison between department managers and hourly employees. ƒÞ Assures that all products are being produced in conformance with the GMP¡¦s. ƒÞ Schedule work assignments, vacations, and days off for the hourly employees. ƒÞ Verifies labor hours and pay roll report accuracy. ƒÞ Responsible for the distribution of workload to each of the leads daily. ƒÞ Verify and control all documents used according to last document status. ƒÞ Responsible for assessing the needs and provide training to employees and document training. ƒÞ Responsible for conducting monthly safety and quality sessions as required and keep adequate documented records. ƒÞ Aid in the solution of any processing problem. ƒÞ Perform and documented daily supervisor audits. ƒÞ Resolve team conflict and issue documented disciplinary actions and recognition. ƒÞ Communicate effectively with employees, peers, department managers, and senior management. ƒÞ Set specific and measurable goals for department¡¦s continues improvement. ƒÞ Effectively communicate in Spanish and English both verbal and written (desirable). ƒÞ Must possess sufficient supervisory skill / experience. ƒÞ Must possess some computer skills. ƒÞ Be prepared to perform other duties as assigned by Senior Management. ƒÞ Follow and direct company regulations. ƒÞ Follow GMP¡¦s and Safety standards at all times. ƒÞ Accountable for ensuring that all safety policies and regulations are enforced, by issuing disciplinary actions. ƒÞ Responsible for safety training, enforcement of safety rules/policies as well as drug control policy. ƒÞ Maintaining a safe work environment by conducting formal inspections that includes work orders & follow up. ƒÞ Injury and illness reporting within 24 hours and analysis/investigations within 48 Hrs.

C. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED ƒÞ Supervisory Skills ƒÞ Computer Skills ƒÞ Communication Skills ƒÞ Good Math Skills ƒÞ Training Skills ƒÞ Technical experience in processing or packaging of products. ƒÞ College degree (desired) ƒÞMust be bilingual, ƒÞExperience with Lean manufacturing (Kazan, 5s, etc). ƒÞ Food industry candidates preferred flour or corn products. D. EMPLOYEES SUPERVISED ƒÞ Up to 35 employees E. REPORTS TO ƒÞ Product Manager ƒÞ Plant Manager F.
