Director of Quality
Salary range is $95k - $105k (will have bonus, profit sharing).
Midwest
Relocation assistance is available – but company will consider someone who doesn’t necessarily want to move…but will do the traveling.
Reports to Sr. VP of Operations.
Monitors quality performance in all divisions, applies statistical process control (SPC), Design of Experiments (DOE), failure mode effects analysis (FMEA), Kaizan, 5-S, Six Sigma methods for analyzing date. Leads continuous improvement and lean initiatives, no direct reports,
Much travel involved going to other sites. |
Qualifications |
Bachelor’s degree preferable in a technical field (engineering, mechanical, manufacturing, industrial, quality or related). Master’s degree desirable. Must have 10+ years related experience.
Must have good process and continuous improvement experience.
Work history and exposure to manufacturing in Mexico will be a plus.
Multiple site experience preferred.
Background in metal/wood, plan and coordinate quality program nationally and internationally (Mexico).
