Process Engineer - Sheet Metal PA near PA/NJ border(No paid relocation) Salary: $50-60K Job Duties: Recommends and introduces design rules, drawings, CNC programs, and other specifications to Manufacturing for various fabricating processes. Produces and maintains work piece processing instructions and related code for fabrication of components utilizing various types of equipment. Determine from part drawings and related engineering data the operation necessary for the fabrication and assembly of product. Analyzes, develops and recommends design approaches necessary to meet production requirements for new or improved products, processes, and equipment. Develop and write sequence of operations as well as time estimates for each operation. Document procedures and work instructions. Inspects performance of machinery, equipment and tools, to verify efficiency and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies. Create routings for the purpose of managing the flow of material through the fabrication process. Works with Project Engineers in capital equipment justification and installation. Support operations in a multi-factory and a multi-shift environment.

Requirements: Years Experience: 5 BS Engineering with sheet metal fabrication equipment experience using laser cutting systems and NC controlled press brakes. Experienced with orbital tube bending equipment, wire/plastic processing equipment and product assembly such as compressors, motor controls, etc. Demonstrated participation in lean mfg, 6 Sigma and/or continuous improvement initiatives. Experienced in interacting with a unionized work force. WILL consider someone with hands on sheet metal press exp with the aptitude to learn CNC programming and Auto Cad.
