We have a Confidential Opening here in Western Michigan for someone to coordinate the investigation work related to claims from faulty products. Someone that has dealt with litigation with an industrial product is desired. For example: A claim can be filed from a faulty product resulting in property damage. In reality this could be the result from a number of factors to include in proper installation, non warranty issues etc. We need someone that can coordinate the attorneys, expert witnesses, basically anyone that would be involved to prove that there wasn\'t any wrong doing on the company\'s behalf.
Ideally someone with a PE, or an engineer that has worked in this capacity at some point would be a good fit. They need someone that will offer credibility. Originally they mentioned an attorney, but followed up with the thought that this person should be considered a credible authority.
The pay will go up to 130k, but that would be the top end. Ideally this person will come from an industrial product line; they will not come from an insurance firm... Must have product background working with warranties and litigations issues. They want to first see if they can find someone is Western Michigan. This position isn\'t public. There is a person in the role that will be retiring. Supervising 2 people. |
