Reports To: Engineering Manager

SUMMARY:
Work with systems to modify and release drawings and production data requirements under direct supervision. Prepares data for CNC machinery, production personnel, and material requirements to various specifications using Microvellum specifications groups.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

•Uses AutoCAD Mechanical Desktop and/or Microvellum to modify existing products within the existing design framework to meet modifications requested by customers.
•Edit drawings for submittal process with field dimensions.
•Prepares programs for CNC equipment using machine specific, Microvelum, and other company software as necessary.
•Prepares data necessary for Production shop package.
•Create and maintain customer library of drawings.
•Self-check and crosscheck work for completeness, accuracy, and meeting standards.
•Assists other functions within the department as required.
•Other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
•Associate Degree in Drafting or related field and two to five years of experience with Microvellum; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
•Must come from Wood Products Manufacturing.
