Job Summary The Project Manager leads the execution of high-end, custom residential millwork projects from contract award through final installation. This role manages complex, detail-driven work for luxury homes, ensuring exceptional craftsmanship, seamless coordination, and an elevated client experience. The ideal candidate combines strong technical millwork knowledge with polished client-facing skills and the ability to manage multiple bespoke projects simultaneously.

What you'll own

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership & Execution
  • • Manage luxury residential millwork projects from kickoff through close-out
  • • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and work plans
  • • Coordinate all phases including design development, engineering, fabrication, finishing, delivery, and installation
  • • Proactively identify risks and resolve issues to maintain schedule, quality, and budget
  • Client, Designer & Architect Coordination
  • • Serve as primary point of contact for homeowners, interior designers, architects, and builders
  • • Lead project meetings and provide clear, professional communication throughout the project lifecycle
  • • Manage scope changes, upgrades, and change orders with discretion and transparency
  • • Deliver a white-glove client experience aligned with luxury residential expectations
  • Technical & Production Oversight
  • • Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, and material selections for accuracy and intent
  • • Collaborate with engineering and fabrication teams to ensure feasibility and execution of complex details
  • • Resolve technical challenges related to custom joinery, specialty finishes, and high-end hardware
  • • Coordinate field measurements and site conditions critical to residential installations
  • Budget & Schedule Control
  • • Track project costs, labor, and material expenditures
  • • Ensure profitability while maintaining uncompromising quality
  • • Manage billing schedules, deposits, and milestone invoicing
  • • Communicate schedule impacts clearly and proactively
  • Quality & Installation Management
  • • Uphold the highest standards of craftsmanship, fit, and finish
  • • Conduct quality reviews throughout fabrication and prior to installation
  • • Coordinate installation sequencing with builders and other trades
  • • Oversee punch list completion and final client acceptance

What we're looking for

  • Required Qualifications
  • • 5+ years of project management experience in high-end residential millwork or custom cabinetry
  • • Deep understanding of luxury residential construction, millwork materials, and finishes
  • • Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings
  • • Proven experience managing complex, one-of-a-kind residential projects
  • • Strong client-facing communication and relationship management skills
  • • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational ability
  • • Proficiency with project management tools and scheduling software
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
  • • Experience working directly with luxury homeowners and high-profile designers
  • • Knowledge of CNC fabrication, millwork engineering, and custom hardware systems
  • • Familiarity with production tracking or ERP systems
  • Work Environment
  • • Office, manufacturing facility, and high-end residential job sites
  • • Regular coordination with designers, craftsmen, and installation teams
  • • National travel to job sites as required
